Over the next three days, the area will continue to experience scorching summer temperatures with little reprieve in sight. Heat indices will reside in the zone of extreme caution through the weekend. Some slight relief is forecasted for the beginning of the week when a cold front is expected to move through the region. However, this relief is expected to be short-lived as temperatures will quickly rebound to above-normal levels.
