Exclusive: Al Pacino and Robert De Niro set to star in new crime thriller

Legendary actors Al Pacino and Robert De Niro are set to star in a new crime thriller, "Heat," directed by Michael Mann.

The film, which is based on a true story, follows a group of high-end professional thieves who start to feel the heat from the police.

Pacino will play Neil McCauley, a master criminal who is trying to control the rogue actions of one of his men while also planning one last big heist. De Niro will play Vincent Hanna, a veteran police detective who is determined to bring McCauley and his crew to justice.

"Heat" is set to begin filming in Los Angeles later this year.
